A few notes about the resort

Just want to post a few things for those who haven't yet been to an all-inclusive resort...

Dress Code
- guys will need to wear pants at the a la carte restaurants for dinner
- shorts are acceptable for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet restaurants
- ladies will need to have something on over their bathing suits at the lunch buffet restaurants, and will probably want to dress up for dinner if going to an a la cart restaurant
- everyone must wear shoes in all of the restaurants
- for those of you who feel like going topless, there are adults-only areas at the resort

Tipping
- it's not mandatory, but certainly encouraged for good service
- you'll want to bring lots of small bills in US$, as they're very hard to come by once you get to Jamaica
- you can leave a couple dollars under your pillow each day for the maids, a couple bucks for your server at meals, or for your favourite bartender(s) now and then
- also if you see the guy that fills up your room fridge, you could probably get some extra drinks for a couple dollars

If you should have any other questions, feel free to email us at lin.curt_wedding@yahoo.ca, and we should be able to get the answer for you.

Important dates

The wedding is going to be on January 13, 2010.  So we are hoping to fly out of Toronto on either Saturday, January 9th, or Sunday the 10th.  We will let you know for sure as soon as we know.

Also, you do need a valid passport to travel to Jamaica, so make sure yours is updated and ready to go!  More information on passport applications and renewals can be found here
